UZBEKISTAN LETTER OF INVITE FORM
***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRETY OF THE TEXT BELOW AS THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR ENTRY INTO UZBEKISTAN***
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Please note that visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller. The visa requirements for your trip vary depending on where you are from and where you are going. We keep the following information up to date as much as possible, but rules do change. It is important that you check for yourself with the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Please, keep in mind that all countries require passports valid for at least 6 months from the moment of departure from the country.
EXEMPTIONS:
- Citizens of the following countries do NOT require a visa to enter Uzbekistan for stays up to 60 days: Kyrgyzstan.
- Citizens of the following countries do NOT require a visa to enter Uzbekistan for stays up to 30 days: Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, State of Brunei Darussalam, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vatican.
- Citizens of the following countries do NOT require a visa to enter Uzbekistan for stays up to 10 days: Bahrain, China (including Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative regions), Kuwait, Oman, Qatar.
- Citizens of the following countries have a bilateral visa-free regime which has been established: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine.
- Nationalities which are not listed on the Uzbekistan Visa exemptions list or not on Simplified Visa procedure list are required to apply for Visa Approval/Telex No prior to their Uzbekistan Visa application at the Uzbekistan Consulate. If going to the Uzbekistan embassy in person or when posting your visa application, please print a PDF copy of the official telex number/LOI to bring or be forward along with your Visa application.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- To apply for a Uzbekistan visa, some countries may be required to present an official Letter of Invitation (LOI).
- PLEASE NOTE: If your Visa application OR your E-Visa application does NOT require a Letter of Invitation, please do NOT fill this form out.
COMPLETING THE LOI FORM:
- Please do not submit the below application until 90 days prior to your entry into Uzbekistan. The details will be forwarded to our local agent in Uzbekistan and you will be emailed your telex number/LOI about 60 days before the trip start date.
- As Uzbekistan visas are dated specifically for entry and exit, please ensure you enter the correct dates. Please also remember to put exactly the same dates when you fill out the visa application at the Uzbekistan Embassy.
- Input your name the same way it is in your passport. The information on the application form must match your passport (if you have 2 or more names - all of them have to be listed under "first name").
- If you have an umlaut or other character not recognised in the english alphabet in your name (ie. ü), please enter it in the longer form (ie. ue).
- If your country has an official Uzbekistan Consulate/Embassy, you must choose this as your 'Visa pickup Embassy’.
For the following multi-country trips, the days spent in Uzbekistan are as follows:
AUTA - Best of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan: Days 1 - 9
AYBT - Best of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan: Days 13-14
AYKU - Multi-Stan Adventure - Bishkek to Tashkent: Days 13-23
AYBA - The Five Stans of the Silk Road: Days 13-22
To receive your LOI for Uzbekistan please fill in all of the requested details below and click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
***Please carefully check all the information below prior to submitting - it is your responsibility to check whether passport details, name spelling and dates on the LOI are correct.***
NEXT STEPS:
- Once you have received your Uzbekistan LOI, you can apply for your visa by going to the Uzbekistan Embassy you listed in the online application. The following documents will be needed to obtain your visa:
- 2 Printed PDF copies of duly completed visa application form
- 2 colour, passport sized photos (taken within 14 days)
- Payment for the visa (this will be dependent on nationality, check with your Embassy to confirm details)
- Passport with empty pages and at least 6 months validity
- Printed copy of Uzbekistan telex number/LOI
- Printed Letter of Employment
- We also recommend bringing your vouchers as well as proof of onward travel (flight tickets entering and leaving the country) and a copy of the itinerary, printable from our website. While this may not be needed, we recommend having a copy on hand if needed.
